I’m enjoying Warhammer as a current refugee from “pre-expansion” WoW. My only significant pet peeve (again, pet peeve, not world breaking) is the fact that when you first start playing Scenarios (their equivalent of battlegrounds) for the first time, a crap ton of tome (or achievement) unlocks appear as you die by each race and each class that has the opportunity to kill your newb butt. One of my most recent accomplishments however, felt a little…personal.

I was informed mid-scenario that I had “clicked on myself 100 times”.

Kind of personal…don’t you think?

Today, my mom and I started playing Warhammer seriously as we are about to purchase a subscription. My mom and I play Warhammer as a way for us to keep in touch and do things together (she has some disabilities that limits what she can do). Well, my mom decided to roll a Disciple of Khaine on the Chaos side. They are basically evil dark priests. As she’s coming out of the starting area a quest involves shooting down dwarven choppers. Shortly after she mounts the cannon, I hear a maniacal giggle from across the room. “I don’t want to stop. This is too much fun.” she says as she’s systematically obliterates flying midgets.

I think I’m scared.
